Maersk Ghana is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Agent in Tema. The position holder will have to ensure optimal management of all the logistical resources made available to him/her in view of the execution of all operations within the contractual deadlines in the most efficient manner and under the prescribed security conditions by APM Terminal.
Also, He/She will have to be the main coordinator of the physical operations execution of the fleet department and documentation preparation for billing.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive the planning of operations and equipment available.
- Coordinate with CX/Depot/OCL to get files.

- Organize and assign drivers to different operations.
- Monitor and communicate constantly & regularly with drivers to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Handle all challenges and avoid any waste of time in the execution.
- Anticipate any operational challenges to minimize operational impacts.
- Push to avoid idle time for our trucks
- Prepare all data for billing
- Ensure the Archive of documentation
- Reports any incidents during the shift
- Establish the final report of the shift activities (feedback report) and share with the fleet supervisor.
Required experience, skills and competencies:
- Bachelor in Shipping or transport and logistics.
- min 2 years of experience in Shipping or transport and logistics.
- Knowledge of road transportation.
- Conversational English level and fluency in French.
- Analytic, well organized, energetic, and problem solver
- A self-starter with a sense of urgency and time management
- Able to work under pressure
