Ernest Chemists Limited seeks a hands-on Production Pharmacist to plan, initiate and with assigned resources carry out the directives of the Production Manager and to ensure that set targets in respect of product quality and quantity are achieved.
Key Accountabilities
- Assign task(s) to all Supervisor(s) and Operative(s) under you, evaluate their work at regular time intervals and offer feedback where appropriate. You will also be required to appraise the performance of all staff under you on a half-yearly basis.
- To enforce complete adherence to Production Schedules, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other similar programs by all staff under your superintendence.
- To liaise with the Maintenance Department in the area of equipment, devices and accessories management and handling to ensure that they remain in proper working condition and are adequate for use at all times.
- To guide all personnel working under you to be well-behaved, disciplined and fully compliant with all company rules and regulations including the staff code of conduct.
- To keep the working environment safe and hygienic. To ensure proper gowning for all staff working under you in accordance with cGMP principles.

Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of Pharm D or B Pharm (Hons)
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing/Pharma
