Job Summary
The Network Manager at Rock City Hotel, Kwahu is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the hotel’s network infrastructure. This includes ensuring network security, optimizing performance, and leading the network team to support the hotel's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Network Design: Develop and implement scalable network architecture to support the hotel’s operations and future growth.
- Network Security: Ensure the security of the network through the implementation and management of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption to hotel operations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the network team, providing technical guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and service providers to maintain network hardware and software, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Budget Management: Oversee the network budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
- Compliance: Ensure network operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills or Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network management or a similar role.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CompTIA Network +, or equivalent are preferred.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of network protocols, excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership, and effective communication abilities.
