Our client is accepting applications for a Pest Control Technician/Driver to be based in Accra, Ghana.
Summary
This position is responsible for servicing residential and commercial customers’ pesticide needs by providing timely professional indoor and outdoor pest control applications, diagnosing and correcting infestations, and deficiencies, and delivering written reports and verbal professional advice. Builds and maintains a market image of quality care and work, excellent customer service, and reliable results.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a pest control work by using the training provided to ensure the most efficient pest solution for our customers
- Follow a daily route schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each stop. (A company vehicle is provided.)
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and cross-sell additional services. Discuss the scope of services provided with the customer.
- Apply all products according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
- Respond to customer service requests, address concerns and provide verbal and written communication promptly.
- Return customer calls within 48 hours and notifies customers of treatment details upon request.
- Maintain a professional image through daily attention to vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleanliness as well as personal, and professional appearance.
- Accurately and professionally complete all service-related paperwork.
- Obey all vehicle policies and procedures.

The work environment is a combination of office, fieldwork and home visits. An individual in this role may have to deal with outside elements as they are calling on residential or commercial clients. Must be able to work weekends. Applicants must have a good driving record.
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum Qualifications - 1st Degree Holder
Competencies Desired:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Strong Organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Customer Service Skills
- Pest control knowledge including products and service
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Entrepreneurial sales approach
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well in a team environment
- EPA Certified licensed however training will be provided
