The video editor will be responsible for editing photos and producing videos from raw footage for external and internal purposes. The video editor will be required to assemble and edit recorded footage and convert them into finished products that match the director’s vision. The Video Editor will ensure that the final products are appropriate for broadcasting in terms of audio and visual elements. If you are a creative individual and have an eye for details, we would like to meet you.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photographs and videos. 
  • Trim footage segments and combine the sequences of the film. 
  • Make an overall video brand messaging strategy. 
  • Input effects, graphics, dialogues, and music into the videos to make them more visually appealing. 
  • Discover and implement new techniques and methods to maximize the company’s efficiency. 
  • Manage to work both on-site as well as off-site locations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from production to the post-production process. 
  • Monitor all technical aspects of recording and editing. 
  • Work effectively with the team members. 
  • Craft compelling and visually stunning videos that align with the brand's vision and goals.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished product that tells a cohesive and engaging story.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and ensure a seamless integration of visual elements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance editing capabilities.
  • Edit short- and long-form videos for website and social media accounts.
  • Take charge of video ideation and creation.
  • Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines.
  • Offer customers peerless digital experiences.
  • Evaluate projects for brand authenticity.

Required Skills or Experience

  • At least a Diploma in Filmmaking, Cinematography or a relevant field. 
  • 2 years of experience as a Video Editor, Video Specialist or similar role in the Media Industry.
  • A complete portfolio depicting the works undertaken so far.
  • Outstanding experience with special effects, 3D, Adobe, Final Cut Pro X and compositing.
  • Creative thinker and excellent time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • Understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound.
  • Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
