Job Description

Purpose

To assist country DTM in managing trainings, vendors, channels, staff/customer engagements and literacy programmes related to the Digital Field Application and other Digital Financial Services to be  provided


Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy digital field applications.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of these applications into the existing workflow.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Monitor and optimize mobile payment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Execute change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition to digital processes.
  • Create comprehensive training programs for both staff and customers.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to ensure users are proficient in digital tools.
  • Identify potential resistance to change and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
  • Gather user feedback and collaborate with the development team for continuous improvement.

Safeguarding responsibilities

  • Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

  • New Technology/Process and Change Management

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

  • Percentage increase in digital transactions.
  • Reduction in operational errors related to digital tools.
  • Customer satisfaction scores related to digital services.
  • Completion rate of staff training programs.
  • Adoption rate of mobile payment solutions.
  • Timely implementation of digital projects.

Required Skills or Experience

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Degree / Major Digital Transformation

PROFESSIONAL DEGREE / CERTIFICATION

  • Certificate/Postgraduate Degree in Development Finance/Digital Financial Services will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE (Including sector/industry)

  • Knowledge of the Digital Financial Services Directive of the Bank of Ghana
  • Experience in payments in field applications
  • Knowledge in application Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

  • Computer knowledge on MS World, MS Excel and Internet 
  • Effective communication skills. Writing and reporting skills in English
