Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Security Engineer at Kissi & Co., you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our clients' systems and data. You will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and expertise in identifying and mitigating potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of secure and scalable technology solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards, and provide guidance to ensure their effective implementation.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement incident response plans.
• Perform security audits and risk assessments, providing recommendations to enhance security measures.
• Evaluate and select security tools, technologies, and vendors to enhance our security posture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior security team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and infrastructure teams, to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security requirements, address their concerns, and provide guidance on security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or in a similar role, with a focus on security architecture and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Experience in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Indepth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining security controls, technologies, and protocols.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access controls.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security concepts.
• Proven experience in incident response, security incident investigations, and forensic analysis.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
