Full Job Description - Read Carefully
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Admin. Director to join our team at our office in Accra, Ghana. The Finance and Administrative services for the company will provide strategic business guidance to further develop the company as a financially sound organization General responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Finance Control & Budgeting
Provide financial leadership and direction for the business. Act as the connection between the finance team and the CEO helping to drive strategy and hit targets using their financial insight, while also overseeing the finance team as a whole
Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with
- Generate timely monthly, quarterly, yearly and project specific financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Contribute to the development and achievement of company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy as a member
- Oversee all accounting procedures and systems used by the company including the implementation of new systems used by the company including the implementation of new systems and procedures
- Review reports and analyse projections of income against actual figures to suggest methods of improving the planning process
- Ensure the company meets its financial and legal responsibilities
- Ensure the comply with all finance rules and procedures of the company
- Provide guidance for the Chief Executive on strategic business directions by conducting financial planning, analysis, forecasting, developing scenarios to inform decision making, and advising on key directions and options for development
- Provide the analytical financial thinking to qualify ideas as good and appropriate
- Oversee audit activities and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Coordinate with payroll management company to ensure all government regulations are in line for payroll, as well as organisational policy for benefits
- Develop and utilise forward-looking, predictive models and activity based financial analysis to provide insight into the company’s operations and business plans including cash requirements
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls, financial systems and financial procedures
- Any other reasonable duties as required from time to time
