A suitable candidate for the role of Equipment designer should be a well-organized professional who know how to use AUTOCAD software and other computer drawing programs to design infrastructure elements for planned building projects.
Role
- Equipment designer will utilize AutoCAD draft both 2D and 3D designs of required equipment for projects
- Work with AutoCAD to create improvement plans, displays, and drawings while being guided by our certified civil engineer.
- Use approved software to produce 3D renderings and planning-level design papers.
- Using smart labeling and other techniques, draft drawings and profile views of equipment.
- Check that the rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering information that civil engineers have provided adhere to the design principles.
- Other responsibilities and projects as may be required.

Requirements
- Expertise in drafting methods and Civil 3D design elements and a minimum of 3 years of experience using ACAD Civil 3D.
- The ability to create conceptual designs using the proper combination of Google Earth, Infraworks, AutoCAD and other certified software
- Understanding of design principles, tools, and methods used in the creation of accurate technical plans, drawings, and exhibitions.
- The capacity to solve issues using sophisticated mathematics.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- An engineering bachelor's degree or HND is desired but not necessary.
