Job Description
Job Purpose
To perform and engineer all laboratory test works for the project including concrete, geotechnical and earthworks lab functions to specifications to ensure the achievement of milestones in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Primary Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Tests and analyzes samples to determine their content and characteristics, using laboratory tools or testing equipment
- Collects or prepares solid or fluid samples for testing
- Compiles, logs and records testing or operational data for review and further analysis
- Maintains and updates databases of lab test results
- Assembles, operates and/or maintains field or laboratory testing, measuring or mechanical equipment
- Performs inspection and required in-progress quality control of testing equipment
- Calibrates and/or performs minor repair on testing equipment
- Prepare or review technical reports on sampling, testing or recommendations of data analysis
- Performs any other related duties based on the exigencies of the project/ Company as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum qualification (s)
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil/Geological engineering or related discipline
- Registered member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers
Experience (Minimum)
- 6 years of progressive working experience in a geotechnical laboratory
