Overview:
The Head of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring seamless execution of LMI Digital’s day-to-day activities, spanning across ISP (Datacom), IT services, cybersecurity, and the data center unit. The successful candidate must blend operational excellence, technical knowledge, and strategic leadership, while also demonstrating exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, research, reporting, and presentations.
This role also plays a pivotal part in shaping the organization’s operational culture, aligning teams, and driving innovation through systems thinking and execution discipline.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight
- Oversee and optimize daily operations across technical and administrative departments.
- Ensure business continuity, process efficiency, and consistent service delivery.
- Enforce SOPs aligned with ISO 20000 and 27001 standards.
- Monitor KPIs and present performance reports to the Managing Director and board.
- Conduct regular site inspections and operational audits to ensure compliance with infrastructure, safety, and service quality standards.

Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with IT, Network, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure technical operations meet SLAs.
- Support rollout and upgrade of infrastructure such as GPON, VPNs, firewalls, and Tier III+ Data Center facilities.
- Provide oversight on vendor management, technical procurement, inter-departmental coordination, and adherence to both internal and external technical standards.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Translate company strategy into operational plans with measurable milestones.
- Drive cross-departmental alignment and lead execution of strategic initiatives.
- Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and implement solutions promptly.
- Implement operational strategies that support revenue growth and sustainable profitability.
- Promote a unified operational culture by aligning processes, systems, and teams across departments and subsidiaries.
Administrative Management
- Manage cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, administration, and support services.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, board decks, and operational dashboards.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure timely submission of documentation.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory policies across all facilities and operations.
- Monitor and manage operational risks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to prevent system vulnerabilities and procedural lapses.
People Leadership
- Mentor and develop departmental heads and staff to build high-performing teams.
- Drive accountability and instill a culture of continuous improvement, discipline, and innovation.

Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with 3+ years in Telecoms, IT services, or ISP sectors.
- Technical understanding of IP networking, data center environments, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT systems.
- Familiar with standards such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ITIL, and general ICT governance practices.
