Role purpose:

The Vodafone Cash Key Account Manager role is primarily responsible for the safeguarding and growing revenue from all strategic accounts through comprehensive account planning and opportunity management.

He/she will also be responsible for achieving the annual Vodafone Cash targets for sales and revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.

The incumbent will own and manage the relationship with all strategic Business Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Control

  • Primary focus will be the development of all Banking and non-banking financial institutions as strategic partners for Vodafone Cash.

  • Provide account data to Mobile Financial Service for the development of a sales plan and monitor its implementation

  • Develop regional contract strategies and account development plans (ADP) for each of the allocated accounts.

  • Develop a pipeline of prospects which are systematically qualified, managing the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed.

  • Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

  • Provide sales performance data to support management decision making

  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.

  • Leadership and Teamwork

  • Act as an interface between Vodafone Business Solutions and Vodafone Cash

  • Identify sales training and development needs for self.

  • Manage Skills enhancement for self and all contract staff where applicable.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners and with account teams in Vodafone Ghana Head Office

  • Stakeholder Management
