The Government of the Republic of Ghana represented by the Ministry of Roads and Highways, acting through the Ghana Highway Authority, has allocated funds through the Ghana Road Fund Secretariat as part of its budgetary allocation to cover the cost of infrastructural Development Works and intends to apply part of these funds to cover eligible payments under 4. the contract for the road projects listed hereunder. The approximate principal quantities for the road projects are as indicated in theTable below.

Tendering will be conducted through the National CoMpetitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in Clause 44 of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, and is open to only Domestic Contractors with requisite expertise and experience in the said Works si id are registered with the Ministry of Roads and Highways in the Financial Class as indicated in the Principal Quantities Table.

The Ministry of Roads and Highways hereinafter referred to as "Employer" acting through the Ghana Highway Authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers for lhe execution and completion of the above-stated Works.

Eligible tenderss will be post-qualified based on the criteria spelt out in the tender documents.

Payments under the Contract will be made wholly in Ghana Cedis

Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the Tender Documents with effect from 6th May, 2019 at the Office of the Regional Highway Director, Ghana Highway Authority, Upper East Region

A complete set of tenderthg documents in English purchased by interested tenderers on the submission application to the above office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GHS 500.00 (Five Hundred Ghana Cedis only) per Lot Additional sets of documents may be purchased each GHS 500.00

The tender must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form and amount indicated in the Principal Quantities Table and in the Tender The Tender shall be valid for a period of 120 days afterTender Opening.

Late tenders will be rejected.Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
